Hi,
my name is Christine Collins. I have had the pleasure of growing
up with Paso Fino horses since age 7. For over 30 years I have been
experienced, shown, trained and loved this beautiful breed of horse.
I
live in southeastern Michigan (Lenox Twp.) which is approximately
20 minutes southwest of Port Huron and 40 minutes north of Detroit.
I have lived and worked on this farm for over 10 terrific years
with every year bringing new people to the Paso Fino horse.
Currently,
I specialize in teaching the amateur owner and youth riders how
to not only ride, but how to show their horse to it's full potential.
I consider the youth our future and through them our breed will
continue to blossom.
I
am also very involved in the Paso Fino horse organization for our
region (Great Lakes Paso Fino Horse Association), the oldest region
in the National Oganization. In the past I have been Vice President
of Great Lakes and have been on the board too. They represent the
Paso Fino Horse for the Michigan Horse Show Association (MHSA).
They meet once a month and look at ways to make our horse shows
better. I think it is very important to, not only support, but also
be part of the organizations that help promote our breed.
